Job requirements –Full time hours starting 40 hours/week

Hourly Rate –$34.07 – $36/hour (based on experience)

Languages; English

Education; Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience; 1 year to less than 2 years

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work site environment: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots Corn farming Hay farming Wheat farming Outdoors Dairy Grain, oil and forage crop Livestock Work setting Rural area

Responsibilities Tasks: Conduct artificial insemination and spraying or shearing of livestock or disinfecting pens, barns or poultry houses Cut agricultural crops Diagnose livestock health issues Handling animals Monitor the calving process Monitoring animal health Supervise milking operations to ensure work is done correctly Treat livestock health issues Maintain financial and production records Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed Maintain livestock performance records Maintain quality control and production records Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs Hire and train staff Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment Perform general farm duties Supervise operation of mechanical equipment and machinery Schedule work assignments

Supervision: 3-4 people

Experience and specialization Equipment and machinery experience: Automated manure handling or storage system Harvesters Seed drill Storage and silage system Tractor Area of specialization Agricultural livestock service Cattle breeding Beef cattle Dairy cattle

Additional information Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence
