Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Operator to set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with machining tools, a strong understanding of technical drawings, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machines (e.g., milling, turning, or grinding machines) according to job specifications.
Load materials into machines and monitor the machining process.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CNC programs (G-code/M-code).
Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality using precision tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
Maintain accurate records of production output and machine performance.
Follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize machining processes.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role.
Knowledge of CNC machines, tools, and programming basics.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
Familiarity with measurement instruments and quality control techniques.
Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift materials.
High school diploma or technical certification in machining or CNC operations.
