Plastic Models – aircraft one

NOTE: The listed price is PER model. This is the first of 3 listings I currently have on Kijiji regarding the sale of a small collection of plastic model aircraft kits. These kits are “new” in that they are still in their original box or plastic wrap based on the manufacturers packaging. Most boxed kits do NOT have their original plastic wrap, but the kit is complete (pieces still attached to spars). The models in this listing were types used by the Royal Canadian Air Force. All these model kits were purchased at the time the kit was released or shortly thereafter. All these kits are 1/72 scale unless noted otherwise. This listing is for the following kits: model (brand-country, box, or package size - L/W/D), kit#, production year.

• Albatross HU-16b (Monogram-USA, 12.5” x 7” x 2.5”) This kit was released in 1973 when Monogram was a subsidiary of the Mattel Inc. toy company. • Twin Otter (Matchbox-UK, 8.5” x 5.5” x 2”) This is kit #PK-127 in a series of kits released in the mid-1980’s. This kit has copyright 1986 (Matchbox International) printed on it. • Fairey Firefly (Modelcraft-British Columbia, 10.25” x 4.75” x 1.75”) This is kit #72-003. • Beech C-45 Expeditor (Pioneer 2–U.K., 10” x 7.5” x 1.25”) This kit is #4003, series 4, and was released in 1990. This kit was manufactured in Turkey but distributed through the United Kingdom. The box has some wear and tear on it. This year was the first production run of this model by this company. • Cessna T-50 (AT-17) (Execuform-USA, 13” x 9” x 1” inch) This kit may have been produced in the 1980’s or 1990’s. • Beech C-45 Expeditor (Rareplane-England, 9” x 5.5” x 0.75”) Date range of production unknown. Based on the information on the kit instructions this is 1 of only 1000 kits produced for international distribution. • DC-3c (Modelcraft-British Columbia, 16” x 7.5” x 1.5”) This is kit #100-001 released in 1995. Its scale is 1/100.
