12 string, what i loved about this and why I got it many years ago was how easy it is to play, very low action, no extra effort to do bar chords, very rare for a 12 string to play so easy, comes with I wanna say (new) hard shell case but I bought new and never used it so either way, will throw in a stand to, has a built in tuner which will need a battery
