Want to pep up your plants in your aquarium? Plants were growing well in the past but now they have little growth?

The use of root tabs will provide fertilizer exactly where the plant roots are located. Place a couple tabs underneath a specific plant for targeted plant growth or if you have more than a couple plants you can use these tabs in a grid pattern which will provide even nutrient levels throughout the substrate.

The use of fertilizer tabs/pills provides fertilizer in a very localized area that being the substrate only. Adding of fertilizer tabs/pills do not add fertilizer to the water for plants. If fertilizing the water is needed then the water fertilizing must be done. I have various fertilizers specifically intended for this purpose.
