Things you should know about buying or adopting a pet

While pet sellers can be reputable individuals or breeders who treat their animals well, the ease of selling pets over the Internet also makes it attractive to careless, irresponsible breeders and scammers. To protect yourself, you must be careful and believe only what you see and not what you are told. It is highly recommended to arrange for an inspection of the home where the pets are bred. This allows you to check that the mother and other animals are living in suitable conditions, being well cared for, and are in good health.

Remember that the Kijiji Pets section is NOT intended to facilitate uncontrolled breeding, irresponsible commercial pet trading, trade of dogs or any other animal for the purpose of fighting or stud services. Any ads that are suspected of promoting this kind of activity or reported to us will be removed. We have produced amazing family companion, therapy & service dogs over the years. All our breeding parents are health tested prior to entering the program with Pennhip & OFA in hips; elbows; cardiac and eyes. We can also produce an excellent health record from our veterinarian. We have many references including previous adopted families and our veterinarian team. Our puppies are raised on a strict 8 week program before leaving us to go with their new families. We do prefer a referral in to get on the list as it takes good families to lead us to good families and we love our circle of amazing adopting families. However we have met amazing folks through this networking too. We have a family only Facebook page to stay up to date with the puppies that you can be added to. Our puppies come with a puppy contract including a health guarentee; their first set of vaccines; microchipped; vet examination of health; non breeding contract; puppy package; insurance and breeder support.
