Limited edition BMW Cruise Bike. Great hybrid bicycle for commuting on the road, bike paths, and unpaved multitrack trails.
This is a used bicycle, so there are signs of cosmetic wear on the frame and components, but nothing more than paint scratches and missing sticker on the rear derailleur.
The bike has been completely overhauled by a mechanic. All the components have been recently cleaned. The brake and shifter cables have been replaced and given new Jagwire pro housing.
Frame is aluminum and size large, suitable for a rider around 5'10" - 6'1". I'm 6' and prefer a taller stand-over height personally. It has eyelet mounts for a rear rack and two bottle cages.
Front suspension fork, Suntour NCX
Stem is adjustable, to accommodate this range of rider height. Also has a BMW head badge on the headset bolt cover.
Riser bars have a bit of sweep for comfortable and fairly upright hand position. I've added a bell - safety first!
The wheels 26" Rodi Airliner Plus rims laced to Shimano Hubs. Quick release. They have a distinct spoke arrangement to look like BMW car rims. They are intended for rim brake use so have the appropriate surface.
Schwalbe City Plus tires with puncture guard. Nice balloon size for smooth rolling over bumps and potholes, off curbs.
Shimano Alivio crankarms.
21 speed transmission. Triple ring in the front and seven in the back.
Trigger style shifters.
Front derailleur is Shimano Alivio
Rear derailleur is Shimano Acera. Remarkably reliable.
Brakes are Shimano caliper brakes, side pull. Brake levers are Shimano Alivio
