Experienced handyman/groundskeeper required

Hello, I am a busy professional that resides in a large house on an acreage and I need help with the upkeep. Currently seeking an experienced Handyman / Groundskeeper for my private residence. The location is near Deacons corner. A live in arrangement is an option for the right candidate. (you would have access to the pool, the acreage, large workshop, and have your own private bedroom) Position is full-time, year round, Monday to Friday, 11am - 7pm (hours are negotiable)

This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who takes initiative, values high-quality work, and can independently manage a wide variety of household and property maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include: - Landscaping and grounds maintenance (lawn care, trimming, seasonal planting, etc.) - Snow removal during winter months (driveways, walkways) - General home repairs and upkeep (must be familiar with plumbing, electrical, and hvac - Routine maintenance of water softener, indoor swimming pool, pool pump, pool heater and hot tub - There may occasionally be minor carpentry and handyman tasks (drywall fix, hanging shelving, repairs, etc.) - Preventative maintenance on mechanical systems and home infrastructure - Occasionally coordinating with outside contractors or service providers - Going to the local hardware store to get material and supplies if needed for a project

Requirements: - Proven experience in a similar residential or property maintenance role - Strong mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently - Hands-on knowledge of hvac, plumbing, and electrical systems - Experience maintaining pools and water treatment systems - Professionalism, discretion, and a strong work ethic - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (the house id not on a bus route)
