Up and Away is part of a Canadian reading development series which was originally used in public schools. This series aims to enhance reading skills through a variety of strategies, including word recognition, vocabulary expansion, comprehension development, information location, and increasing reading speed and oral reading skills.
This copy is in good condition for a nearly 80 year old book. Cover is clean and unmarked, except for a tiny tear near the spine (see photos), binding is fully intact and pages are clean, untorn and unmarked except for a little foxing typical of a book of this vintage, and a school stamp on the front fly leaf.
