Description

Model: JDM 2003 Subaru Legacy GT-B E-Tune II (BH5) Engine: 285hp 2.0L Twin Turbo (EJ208) Transmission: 5-Speed Manual (TY754) Drivetrain: Symmetrical All Wheel Drive Right Hand Drive

The car has never been in an accident and will be sold with an Ontario Safety Certificate by a reputable mechanic. Asking price includes 17" 2014 WRX Wheels with brand new Michelin Pilot Sport summer tires (less than 500km) as well as OEM 16" Subaru Impreza wheels with Michelin X-Ice winter tires (4 seasons, great shape). Also includes Yakima roof racks and wind deflector. There is nothing wrong with the car - everything works as it should.

I purchased this car while living in Japan back in 2020 and imported it to Canada in the same year. The car is currently registered in Ontario and is my secondary driver. It was my daily driver up until a few months ago. I'm regretfully selling it as my job requires me to frequently drive to remote areas on unmaintained roads and I cannot afford two vehicles.

Car is super clean and almost bone stock. I have all service records from its time in Japan as well as the service records from its life in Canada aside from basic work I completed on my own. All major maintenance items have been completed for its current odometer reading (151,000km), including the timing belt/water pump. Almost all repairs done on the car were completed by licensed mechanics who are Subaru enthusiasts at reputable garages in BC and Ontario.

The only modification the car has is an HKS air intake, otherwise, the car is stock and has never been modified.

The 2003 Legacy GT-B is the last year the third generation Legacy was built, and the E-Tune II trim was the highest end model sold exclusively in Japan that included a sport Bilstein suspension, the STI Genome package that comes with a upgraded exhaust and factory tune as well as added chassis reinforcement. The car is in amazing shape and is quite rare. To top it off, its a true 5-speed manual. It's a dream to drive and I'm going to miss it.

For those wondering, the engine comes stock with metal head gaskets that have a great reputation and are not prone to failure like US market EJ-style engines. This car has been the most reliable I've ever owned, costing me very little in repairs over the five years and 42,000km I've driven it. Many chassis parts are interchangeable with US model Legacy or Imprezas and a lot of engine parts are interchangeable with early 2000s WRXs. I have a copy of the parts catalogue for the car if a replacement part needs to be ordered in the future.

Here's a list of notable repairs that were completed since I purchased the car in 2020:

Synthetic Oil changes completed every 5000km OEM Alternator (2020, Subaru Japan) Rear suspension end links (2020) OEM Radiator (2021) Alignment (2021) Fuel hoses/lines (2021) Timing belt replacement/water pump service (2021, 130,000km) Clutch fluid flush (2021) Belt tensioner (2022) Exhaust O2 sensor (2023) All four injectors change with OEM replacements (2023, 140,000km) Differential/transmission fluid change (2024, 141,000km) Alignment (2024, 141,000km) All four brake rotors and pads (July 2024) Rust coating performed by Krown (last done in October 2024)

The car is mechanically sound and has no electrical issues. The A/C blows cold and heater works fine. The car's factory tune requires 93 or 94 octane gas (Gas quality is that much higher in Japan). The Kenwood stereo is old and doesn't sound the greatest, but has bluetooth. There are some cosmetic issues as the car is 22 years old. The driver's seat has a few tears, but the other seats are mint. The front bumper's tow hook cover is missing. The paint is in fair condition. There is a small section of rust on the inside of the hatchback door.

If you have any other questions or would like additional pictures, feel free to ask! The car is currently located in North Bay, Ontario, but I am willing to drive it to Toronto or Ottawa for a deposit. I am not interested in trades EXCEPT for SPECIFICALLY 2016 to 2019 SUBARU OUTBACK 3.6R models. Do not message me if you want to trade for anything else.
