2011 Honda civic SE for sale

A great project for someone who knows his or her way around a car. Has a moonroof with no leaks, and all the standard power gadgets, locks, windows, (back windows won't roll down, no idea why, they never have,) remote starter, (full key set is accounted for, remote fob, two keys, and 'valet' key,) regular AM/FM/CD player system, with anti-theft code protection. No bluetooth, cameras, or high-tech alarms or anything, just a good reliable car to get you from one place to another. It has never stalled out or failed to start, no matter how cold the night, and handles the winter roads beautifully, (and is very happy to go just as fast as you wish, so mind those speeding tickets.) The tires currently on it are studded winters, as last years' summers were done. They might last through the summer if the studs are removed, but new tires will be needed for next winter. The rims are fine, however, and it will come with three extra rims, (the fourth was bent and was discarded,) if the buyer wants them (as pictured. Tires on them are not serviceable.) Battery is around 3 years old and still works just as well as when it was new. Brakes and exhaust were completely done three years ago when it was safetied, and necessary maintenance has been promptly done when it was needed since then, including the installation of a brand new power steering line last fall, along with new bearings, and the back calipers and brake pads were replaced early in the winter. The windshield did get a small crack in it a few months back, but it was immediately taken to be repaired when it was noticed, (I have the receipt,) and though the spot is still slightly visible, it is very low on the glass, does not affect visibility in any way., and should not be of any more concern. Car was not smoked in at all while I had it, but has been used to transport dogs and cats a couple times. (no 'accidents', just a bit of fur and mud.) Car is still on the road and may be test driven.

The car is being sold as-is, and will need a bit of incidental work for a safety. The front right speed sensor shows an error that has never caused any issues other than the check engine symbol, and the exhaust may need to be looked at, (it's a little loud.) I will not guarantee that that is all it needs, but they are the only safety issues I know of.

Paint is obviously not perfect, but the worst of the rusting seems to be on the trunk lid, as seen in the photos. And, yes, that rope is to secure the front bumper. It was accidentally caught and tugged off (not an actual accident, it happened in my mother's driveway,) and the bolt holes under the hood were torn open. It has remained in place for nearly a year without any issues (driver's side wheel well is worn through a bit, but the problem has been addressed,) and is probably not too difficult to mend or replace, if one wants to. I just never bothered.

The only major complaint that I have ever had about this car is that the heater does not work quite right. It will only blow hot air out of certain vents. The thermostat was replaced in the fall of 22, and the engine has never exceeded its proper temperature limit, and I am not otherwise knowledgeable enough about cars to diagnose the issue myself. Honestly, if I were going to keep the car, I might try to find someone who would fix it at a reasonable price, but I need something a bit more 'country', and am planning on purchasing a truck, instead. I am asking $4000, but will consider reasonable offers.
