Here we have a 997.1 2005 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet 6-Speed. This 911 is part of a long history of family 2-door high-performance rear-engine sports cars. The 911 was introduced in 1964 & is now in its 8th generation with many .1's & .2's in there providing plenty of enhancements. They all have a rear-mounted flat-6 engine & 2+2 seating except for some special variants. The 997 presents a nice entry into 911 ownership as it is a bit more affordable than newer examples while providing a similar interior & exterior design that is aging well. This 997 we have here provides an engaging driving experience thanks to its all important 6-speed manual transmission.
