When an unprompted opportunity to own this rare trim model first generation RX-7 I couldn't say no, since then I've chosen to devote my time and energy to my other RX-7 and don't want to see this one sitting. The engine turns over on the key, sounds very healthy, and the transmission engages and will move the car forward and back if cranked in gear. The fuel pump is bad, I currently have it out of the car from testing (also for conformation it actually is bad for the purchaser) At the end of the day, it's a 40+ year-old car that has been stored for well over half of its life, it's got a few bumps and bruises, and poking around under it while diagnosing the bad fuel pump i decided rust-wise, I think it's beyond the effort I'm interested in taking on right now and would rather devote the time to my other RX-7 and I dont want to see this one sitting. I've decided to leave the car raised in the air (as seen in photos) for the purchaser to be able to inspect the underside.
