2014 VW Golf TDI Highline Manual

It is time for me to let my 2014 VW Golf TDI Wagon Highline manual go to someone who needs it. I am quite sad about it and I wanted to have it another fifteen more years but my left hip and back are beyond repair now. This car has been nothing but good to me, a beautiful ride with a six speed transmission that is so much fun to drive. And, well it is one of the last diesels that VW put out in North America, so easy on fuel. It currently has 198,034 KM on it.

A quick breakdown of what you can expect:: 6 speed manual , 2.0 Litre Turbo Diesel Navigation system Heated seats, A/C, Power Windows Bluetooth Leather Interior Block Heater & Cord (VW has their own cord) Moon Roof with Sun shade (Working condition, no leaks, cleaned drains) Fog Lights 2 Programmed Keys Weather Tech Mats in front

The car has been very well maintained. Oil changes at least every 12,000 km either by me or a shop. Air, fuel and cabin filter changes every 2nd oil change and complete breakdown of all this in an excel sheet which I have kept since I bought it. I even have how many times it has been stalled by me (12) and how many times I grinded the gears (42) haha.

Work that has been done on the car: March 4, 2022- 118,720 KM - Replace Alternator and serpentine belt Replace Rear Coil Springs, Left CV boot repair, April 5, 2022 - 120,152 KM - Retorqued Rear Springs. May 2023 - Replaced front Shocks and struts, sway bar links. Jan 10, 2024 - New Back Windshield July 20, 2024 - 173,200 - Replaced brake pads. Everything else was fine. July 23, 2024 - 173,617 KM - DPF Replacement Oct 23, 2024 - 179,665 KM - Timing Belt & Water Pump, New Idler & Belt Tensioner Feb 15, 2025 - 186,711 KM - Heater Core Element Change (Recall) June 23, 2025 - 194,349 KM - Replace clutch, rear main seal and slave cylinder

What to expect. It is a 11 and ½ year car, so there are some dents and character:

The front lock cylinder for the driver side door is broken. It is $120 to fix, but I used it as an anti theft device. Has been like this for five years. The front windscreen is cracked. Been like this for four years. On the shifter, a small part of the leather is coming out from the shifter. Cosmetic but good to note. There is a small crack in the back left side of the bumper. Sunroof can be finicky, needs to be greased twice a year, but does not leak and works fine. With the DPF replace the car hiccups when cold driving in third gear until up to temp. I was going to get it deleted, but I need an automatic now so it runs greta with the DPF though if you do purchase, I would recommend the delete. The kit can be purchased for $800. Install is straight forward though tune will be needed. AC need to be recharged in summer. I have the hose for it, it's really easy…$20 for a can. A few scratches and dents along the car but not noticeable. As mentioned I have driven this car exclusively for the past 8 ½ years. Never has given me any grief and any issues that popped up, the car gave me signals something was brewing. Very reliable. Will need winter tires. Current tires will get through summer. Overall, I do not want to sell this car which is why it is priced where it is, but I also have a back left hip and back which causes chaos with the manual. Shoot me a message if you are interested and we can chat.
