Description
SUMMARY This van comes with the name of Viki. She’s been a great partner during an important transitioning season in my life. I built her this last summer and lived with her through the winter, proving that I could survive during our -40 Canadian winter. She’s a champ! I’ve never had any issues with her. I am just settling down after travelling for a while and would let her go to the right person for the right price. She cost just under $38,000 to buy/build/outfit. The asking price for equivalent vans (which are unconverted) is over $26,000 + taxes/fees, which in Alberta, would cost almost $28,000. This is a private sale, so no taxes/fees are applicable. You are also talking straight to the current owner. Feel free to ask questions. I will not waste my time, so please, I ask that only those who are truly in the market for this type of van reach out. And please only send reasonable offers. Thank you.
CONS Needs new windshield. Only sleeps one
PROS Fully insulated with custom cut, reflectix wrapped, corrugated ABS for a nice looking roof/wall finish (I used it in -40 this past winter with no problems). There is also wool insulation used between that and the frame. Stored indoors most of its life. Only the second owner. Using high quality Amsoil. Backup camera. Wood countertop. Refrigerator. Electrical system with 800W alternator changer and 505W solar panel for multi-channel options to keep the 4,000 watt capacity system charged at all times. Espar Heater (2 KW S3D2L) that is plumbed into the main gas tank. Backup safety electric heater. Built in fan. Two roof vents with LED lights. Carbon monoxide and smoke detectors. High quality, waterproof, vinyl floor. Garbage can Roof rack. Emergency, electric tire inflator. 180° swinging back doors. Two sliding doors on either side of the vehicle. Room for a custom made storage container on the roof rack. Perfect for one person and can be converted for two-person travels by building a small, convertible futon (I can show you videos of others who have done it in the same van). Dash cam. Cruise control. Air conditioning in the cab. Fog lights. All maintenance and conversion receipts have been kept. Under 114,000 KMs on odometer Bluetooth. Sports shifter. Good fuel mileage compared to other camper vans. Comes with a self inflating air mattress and a bunch of the supplies. Fridge. Electric stove. Cast iron pan. Cutlery. Composting toilet.
