Description
Rare find: Subaru Baja 2005 - For Sale $4200 Open to offers. No trades.
Great little novelty Ute (car sized truck). Back seats and back half wall hatch folds down flat so you can put long items all the way from the console through out to the tail gate! License plate has a pop out feature so you can drive with the tailgate down. Comes with the tailgate extender cage, rubber mat for truck bed and tonneau cover. Sunroof/moonroof. Has winter tires on.
Perfect project for someone who wants a unique ride. Needs a bit of work, but totally worth it. Same frame as the Forester, so has interchangeable parts.
Never gave me any trouble. Drove 3600km road trip with no issues, but then parked for a year, and got buried in 9’ of snow… the breaks seized and so it would need to be towed away as is.
It runs and drives, so it can drive up onto a auto haul trailer or flat deck for pick up. Not road legal without the breaks, so must be hauled out.
Also needs a power steering pump, and some patchwork on the exhaust to pass out-of-province inspection (last registered in Alberta, where we don't have e-testing). Battery dead from sitting. Heater is good but AC didn’t work (when I bought it).
Last registered in Alberta, previously registered in Ontario. {Negotiable: I might keep the winter tires, if they fit my new vehicle. It drove on and off the tow truck when assessed by the mechanic before being parked in the garage to list it. If keeping them, then easiest for me, we'd load the car on a flat bed and I'd pop the tires and rims off then to sell/transport without.}
