Up for sale is a near mint condition Alpine Model 7166 Full Logic AM/FM Shaft Style Cassette Car Stereo in virtually mint hardly used condition. Part of a private collection, this nearly 40 year old unit was installed inside of a Classic Car for a short period of time and then carefully wrapped up and put away in dry storage for over thirty five years. This rare unit has been fully tested and works like new! The unit is short chassis and designed to fit cars with limited depth. Alpine Shaft Style car stereos are becoming nearly impossible to find especially in this condition. This unit incorporates the 5 pin Din Output and we also have two amplifiers: The 3505 and 3517 which are from the same collection and have the DIN inputs, also in mint condition. We will be listing these amplifiers as well in the near future. As of this listing date May 6 2024, we have the only Alpine 7166 listed online worldwide. The last time one of these sold on Ebay it fetched $681 and was incomplete and being sold as is for parts only! This unit is ideal for anyone restoring a classic muscle car like a Camaro or Trans Am.
