Foxy Tone Box Octave Fuzz Guitar Pedal by Warm Audio is a fantastic recreation of the famous "Foxx Tone Machine" from the glorious 70's. The range of tones from this pedal is insane. If you know, you know.
I'm a bass player. I do have a guitar pedalboard for the guitars I sometimes play, and that's where this pedal has lived since purchased, new. I just almost never play guitar, so I'm culling the collection. Functionally, it's perfect, all jacks, knobs, switches, etc. work as they should. Cosmetically, it's pretty good -- the orange velvety texture does change over time, no matter how clean & smoke-free my (or any) studio is. Top and sides are great, but the bottom has suffered some loss of the velvety material due to the application of the Velcro Tape (I guess that's why they don't including it now?) and the pedal is priced accordingly for this. I'm including a high quality aluminum footswitch topper to make pedal use easier and help keep those grimy tootsies away from the fancy velvety skin!
Thanks for looking!

From the Warm Audio pages:
The Foxy Tone Box is the most accurate reintroduction of one of the most sought after and beloved fuzz pedals of all time. Covered in thick velvet just like the vintage pedal, the Foxy Tone Box faithfully recreates the vintage circuit and delivers all of the piercing fuzz and octave-up solo magic that attracted guitar players like Billy Gibbons, Peter Frampton, Adrian Belew, Beck and more.
A small but mighty fuzz pedal that goes from mellow to mayhem real quick, Foxy Tone Box is true bypass and uses NOS2 N3565 Fairchild Transistors, carbon resistors, Germanium 1N34A diodes, and premium film capacitors to bring the fury of the vintage pedal to the present day. Foxy Tone Box houses a very workable fuzz circuit with controls for volume, sustain, and “fuzz” (tone) which runs from mellow to brite. The tone control makes it easy to switch from single coil to humbucking pickups without missing a beat. The sustain control turns your solos from choppy bitcrushing madness to liquid metal. To get the full experience of Foxy Tone Box, engage the octave effect and proceed to melt faces. Not just for guitar, try Foxy on synthesizers, drum machines, bass, acoustic/electric, and more.
